Easy to use & huge time saver!
I was told in advance NOT to use alcohol as a cleaner on the plastic cover so simply washed it with warm water & soap. The rest of bowl cleans up easily. There is a rubber mat which came packed inside the bowl however the mat ended up getting caught up in the blade and sliced it. Now I’m thinking the mat should be used under the bowl to keep it from sliding on your tabletop – just wish I had seen that somewhere in the directions.

This works great and Saves time
I was very satisfied with this purchase. I always do a pre-trim on my plants about a week before harvest. So all I had to do was cut the buds off of the stems and load the buds onto the screen.I did used this with fresh buds cut off the plant same day. Took about one half hour to clean around 6 ounces. The tops came out great. They may need a little clean up but for my purposes they don’t need any more work.My last plant that was almost the same size took me about a week at about 3 hours a day or more. So the time and ware and tare on my hands wore definitely worth the money for me.
I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews on this one.

A great time saver
I’ve got to say this trimmer is a real time saver! I was skeptical, but somewhat confident, given the 4+ star rating of this trimmer– I figured worst case scenario I’d get a bad unit and/or have a bad experience…. not the case.
Harvest time has come to be known around here as “trim jail”. This year, not so much. While the machine does NOT do anything close to a hand trimmed job, it does a great “first pass”, removing extra leaves/plant material, and leaving you with a roughly trimmed bud which can easily be hand-finished.
The machine holds perhaps 2-3 oz of dried, bucked buds, and in about 2-3 minutes of cranking, will process those to a rough-trimmed state. Some may have concerns about trichomes being knocked off during the process, but for me, that’s not a huge issue because of my “post-harvest processing”— I will reclaim them from the trimmed materials in a later process.
Overall, I’m quite pleased with my results– as are my back, arms, wrists and hands. I was able to easily process a couple pounds in a few hours– not to super-trimmed specs, but at least in a state where I felt ok jarring them up to begin curing. FTW

Perfect for my needs
This trimmer was a God send!
Trimming my normal crop used to include several weeks of drying time followed by several weeks of trimming in which I regularly recruited additional help. It has always been a laborious task and something I dread.
Trimming this year’s crop was a great D light. What used to take over a month was completed in a single evening on the kitchen table. Once trimming was complete my product was dry and ready for use in 5 days.
I have used the trimmer 3 Different times now and have yet to clean it. Somewhat surprised at how well it continues to work.
The separation of flower and trim is also worth noting. The trim that is retained is much more usable and collectible than hand trimming.
In many reviews I read that the trimming machine caused some physical abuse to the finished product. My observation is that my finished product has never looked better.

MUST BUY!
After hand trimming for over a decade only one conclusion can be reached after you have spent enough hours trimming…. TRIMMING SUCKS!!
I was hesitant to buy this device but my only regret is that I didn’t buy one years ago.
Make sure your crop is a bit moist this device will eat up dry product.
I take my a half a day earlier than usual, you will still have a few lose odds and ends to clean up if your a perfectionist like me but this machine will save you mass amounts of time.
The trim in the bottom of the bowl is also a much better consistency for all of those who like to extract.
I would highly recommend purchasing one of these bowls and I will more than likely purchase a second one from our larger crops.

I was overall happy with this product until it broke. I received it on August 12th, and just recently used it a week ago for the 1st time, (other than previously putting the unit together to see how it worked). I used it one time and didnt even get to finish all my trimming. The small metal cylendar that sticks out of the top that attaches to the turning handle stopped spinning and will not turn the unit at all.. it seems to be a malfunction inside the cylendar and that part can not be separated to even see about fixing.

The handle is cheap and stripped out right
The concept is sound, but the handle stripped out right away making the thing useless. I ended up using a socket wrench to complete the task.

Highly recommended.
Well, first impressions are WOW!! 2 hours work in 5 minutes. It really is impressive. I can see that it will pulverise dried material but no issues when wet for me. Highly recommended.

The lazy mans trimmer AKA “where have you been all my life”!
So this time of year has come. Not talking about Xmas but about having to spend literally days on trimming. I finished 2 days work in 4 hours and I am still wondering how could I ever do it before this trimmer. An extra set of serrated blades were included in the package as a spare and also a small cutter probably to cut the fan leaves. Review and Tips: – You need to put some time in preparing the buds before you put them in the trimmer like removing all main fan leaves(nothing else the trimmer will do the rest) and also make sure that buds are separated from their branches. – if you have a mixed load of small pop corn buds and bigger buds, you need to be careful as the pop corn buds will be ready in fewer rotations so you will need to open the cover and remove them before or risk losing them. It is not a shortcoming of the trimmer but of the laws of physics. – I finished 10 plants within 4 hours with fantastic results. Tip :rotate slowly and check every 10-15 rotations. – The actual trimming is customisable by how many rotations you want to give. The more rotations you give, the closer the “shave” (check the smaller buds early), 10-15 rotations for me would clear all small buds which I will remove and 25-35 rotations will trim anything else. The result is more amazing for the time spent. – Out of curiosity(ok laziness) I pushed the trimmer to the limit leaving many leaves with the buds and also not removing branches and even then most of the times the trimmer would produce fantastic results. Some times I would need to open the separate the branches as they would become one big ball but I was not using it correctly but it was very forgiving.. One big criticism I have for the trimmer is that it won’t do the dishes, it will not make me a cup of coffee and it won’t get up in the morning to go to work for me. Other than than if you really respect your money and time, invest in this trimmer and by using it correctly you will not regret it. Plus the seller was fantastic getting in touch with me and answering all my questions and concerns. Thank you yuki (*^_^*) !!!

4.0 out of 5 starsVerified Purchase
Good not great
Still have to do abit of editing to get perfection but definitely a time saver shame no dry trimmer blades just 1 set already attached could see them needing changing after a couple of times

Very nice
Sharp and clean to cut easy to clean, easy to operate, put together nicely.

Easy, quick and gets the job done.
Good product for those 2nd tier flowers. Make sure they are solid or it will eat them up.

This product works best when full of buds. I tested it with a single bud sample and it did nothing. Im glad I decided to fill the bowl. Also, if you order extra blades, you must lift the bottom cardboard to retrieve it. I didn’t discover this until the box was broken down for recycling. By this time, the blades were damaged. It saves time and appears sturdy but there was a huge ding on the side. Im not sure if Ill request an exchange….

Great time-saving tool
I really like it, because it saved me a lot of time to trim my smokable hemp flowers.
However, there are some minor things that I don’t like:
1. the handle comes off and should be able to be fixed permanently with a screw or something.
2. You have to wiggle a bit to get the top lined up with the bottom correctly in order to start tumbling.
3. It does take a bit to figure out the best way to spin it (it sometimes gets stuck on bigger branches and you’ll have to turn the other way then)
But altogether, I would recommend it and am still using it.
I have not used it on wet flowers, only on dry flowers.

This works very well. Last year I spent close to two weeks trimming 6 plants. This did the same amount in 8 hours. Trimming wet saves a ton of time and produces just as nice a product. Different strains trim differently. This comes with a couple of spacers under and over the blade. I took the blade off and gave it a slight upward bow, removed one of the spacers, and reassembled the blade. This made it so the blade just slightly scrapes the bottom of the grid. That made it work much better and more consistently. Afterwords I put the product in IPower’s drying rack, which also works really well. This system save a ton of work and time. Highly recommended.

Great time saver if not looking for grade a cut
Definite time saver especially if your not overally worried about super close top cut buds. You can put in a lot at very rough condition and they come out decent enough within 40 seconds. The blade is on a gear ratio to the handle and has a much greater rpm than the handle so you don’t need to spin fast and rough up your bud too much.
If I had one suggestion it would be to offer different grate sizes for different size buds. I prefer this to save time for the medium to small buds and it tends to pull the small buds through the “charcoal grill” grate. I’d like a tighter, mesh option to lose less bud.

works great
wish I bought this years ago

Way better than expected… wow!!!
Very impressed with how sturdy and well made… way better than I imagined. Unfortunately I’m unable to use till September or October this year… I will definitely update if this trimmer doesn’t perform as it should…. but honestly I don’t see that happening… very happy with item. My shipment came way late, but no fault of anyone’s, it got lost in the mail…. but UPS finally delivered. Thank you to everyone!
UPDATE…11/11/20. I used my trimmer during harvest… wow!! I did the work of 5 people in 1 day versus a week… I am so impressed with this trimmer.. and so happy I bought it. A+++

Happy Trimmer!
Trimming all of your herbs on your own is not the business. I will never finish by myself, but this thing saves me so much time and I was extremely thankful to find this item. Everyone should have one

Kiss hand trimming goodbye l
I like the build quality as the machine very sturdy and the clear dome makes checking your progress a breeze. I wish the gears were of a smaller ratio to make turning the handle easier. Overall I am quite happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone that has buds to trim
Jacob –
You’ll never go back that’s for sure 🙂
I own 2 of these. Cut my outdoor harvesting time by 70%. Must use it right when you cut down your weed. I just lop off some branches, trim large leaves then cut off buds and put in machine. 8 spins one way the 6 the other. Looks like you manicured them. Don’t cry about loosing a little weed it’s worth it. I ended up with just over 15 lbs of bud this year from my garden north of Detroit.

It work well
It does make the job fast, I can’t get the darn thing to close all the way, stays open about 1/4″ no mater what I do. Guess I will have to modify
