I had one of those random names “hydroponic kits” from Amazon that circulated water and had grow lights and a timer. It stopped working after a few months, I ordered these lights and tied them to the top of the broken one I had. Works great, timer works well and plants seem happy

I give this light an A+ for Brightness, spectrum, and arrangement possibilities. They also put out enough heat to help heat the plants a little. I took the in-line controller out and hardwired the lights to USB connectors because I wanted to use an analog timer, so The downside of the in-line controllers for these lights is that if you’re using a separate timer or if the power goes off the lights will not come back on without pressing power button on controller, and resetting brightness on controller, I wish they sold these lights without the in-line controller, but oh well, I give them 8/10 overall Happy growing!

These are perfect for a 3’x2’x1.75′ starter area, the plants at edges lean a little but overall these are great for starter or if growing indoors as under canopy lighting. Corn is ridiculously green an grows like crazy. Running 24×7 to see how long they last, after a month so far so good. The tape was a nice touch.

I installed these over a dark shelf in my office for starting winter seedlings.. The seeds have sprouted in short order and this is the only light they are recieving.. So I say these work no need to spend money on high priced grow lights..
