Worth the money

Have only tried it on dry buds and it worked wonderfully I look forward to trying it on less dry buds to see how will it trims the sugar leaves off definitely worth the money it may trimming very easy

Saves a ton of time

Straight blade works great with dried buds. Have not tried the aerated blade but the straight blade leaves a little more leaf on wet buds than I’d like. It does save a lot of time, I can trim in about 1/3 the time it takes by hand. Hand trimming looks a bit nicer but it smokes the same and this takes way less effort. The blades are adjustable for hight, I removed all the shims for a nice tight trim and the buds look nice and clean provided they are not too wet. Maybe try the aerated blade for wet trim, I just don’t wet trim often. You do lose more triches than hand trimming but that is to be expected. All in all it’s a great product and a time saver. Has a stainless bowl, silicone tines and bowl seal. Well built. I would purchase again.

This bowl in awesome!! Have a ton to trim and would have taken me 6-8 hours plus to hand trim and used this in about 1 total with a lot of trim for bubble hash and canna butter!! Definitely would recommend to anyone that has more than 4 plants. Best price and quality for the money!!

I take pride in my buds now that it is legal for me to grow my own. I had been carefully clipping them in an effort to keep all trichomes possible. Of course, there is ALWAYS a trade-off! I can make or grow anything except TIME! It was just taking way too long. This has substantially speeded up my process.
A few things… Rotate at about 60 RPM… About once per second. Slower or faster doesn’t work as well I have noticed. Depending on how much you trim prior to putting them in to trim… It may take 15-30 rotations… Backwards and forward… to get the buds looking like you may want. I still trim off the larger leaves and I try to trim off any discolored leaves first.
Also… WATCH OUT as these blades are VERY SHARP! When I cleaned the machine and blades for the first time i was being very careful using alcohol to clean the blades with a paper towel. The blade sliced right through the paper towel and almost took off my whole finger tip. I bled like a stuck pig! I have had a bandage on it all week! I am MUCH more careful now making sure I never put myself in that position again!
The machine has a gear reduction drive that rotates the blades probably 15-20 times for every turn of the handle. It just WORKS!

Product is easy to setup and use, very bulky, however…… this product is straight up trash. Thought it would help trimming, WRONG! Product is well built but does not do the job at all. Makes a mess and creates way more work for you. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT…. Honestly I want my money back

Weak Crank Design.

The screw that holds the crank handle to the domed lid stripped out after one use. GARBAGE DESIGN!!! Luckily a crescent wrench sits on the hex shaft, so the handle really in not mandatory. Other than that it works adequately and definitely saves time trimming bud leafs.

This thing saved us so much time. We were amazed. What would have been a 2 week job was done in 2 days. Of course it’s not perfect and you’re not going to get professional retail results, but for home use it’s freaking awesome! I highly recommend this for home users.

The handle was spot welded together and came apart. I turn it it’s a socket and ratchet. It works well with both green and dry. The hanging basket is the best for drying the trimmed bud. I love it.

I couldn’t get anyone to come trim for me at harvest time. Even tried offered $20/hr and you can take a gallon home but no takers. This thing tore my buds to absolute shreds but managed to get it all done in a couple hours vs the weeks I was spending hand trimming. DO NOT BUY if you want perfectly manicured buds, for that you need to hand trim. BUT if you’re extracting get this, run your trim as a secondary run, and be done with it. Much cheaper than hiring someone and it gets the job done fast BUT will absolutely wreck your buds

Metal grate is flimsy

Overall the design is great for the money. The only downside is the grate the flowers sit on. The center is lower than the outside edges so the blade is closer in the middle and farther away on the outside. It can be fixed for the most part by flipping the grate upside down and pressing on it to flatten the grate. Large bowl and dome makes for easy work.

My bowl trimmer came very quickly and was packaged well and so came in perfect condition. I was very anxious to try it out as it claims to reduce trimming time substantially and produce a high quality trim.
I was able to harvest and trim approximately 1/2 lbs of herb by myself in about 4 hours.
I couldn’t be happier with the results, buds were perfectly trimmed very close and clean with no damage.
I love the drying rack also, everything is working exactly as advertised.
Also, easy to clean afterwards, just wiped it all down with isopropyl and let it dry.

HUGE time saver!

I was cutting 2 dryed plants over the course of 6 hours by myself at a time. Now in less than 30 minutes is all it took and they look almost identical to hand trimmed flower. A minor amount of extra hand trimming was needed for bigger buds but comparativly speaking its nothing to be concerned of. The trim was even high quality and any little buds that fell through were easily picked out. Definitely make sure your flower isnt bone dry or it may mulch it from the heavy silicone fingers. Reccomend to anyone who needs to save time but also without cutting corners. Just buds.

This trimmer worked ten times better than I was expecting. it comes with two blades one smooth and one serrated. I put it through the paces and it held up nicely. I hate to say it but it seems quality for being from China. I would recommend it to my friends.

This thing is massive! The bowl and trimmer made very very well. The drive years are tight and smooth. The blade spins extremely fast with little effort are extremely sharp! The drying tower thing is huge! Way bigger than I expected! Be careful when you take it out of its storage bag. It will pop out and scare the poop outta you! The trimmers are also nice and smooth and very sharp. Came with a straight blade and serrated for the bowl trimmer. lol

Be watchful when you order this item. I could have had it for $ 104.00 The next row had it for $118, however, it would arrive two days sooner. I was extremely tired of hand clipping, so I opted for the higher price/ shorter shipping period. It worked. Item arrived precisely when they said it would. I love it when a plan works out.

What a time saver!

This thing ROCKS. It is literally saving me hours of tedious work. Sure you might loose some bud, but make butter :> I highly recommend this for anyone with lots of trimming to do. The one thing I did not like is that the top handle does not secure. When you try to pull the top off the crank comes off. I drilled it out and put a pin in it so the handle won’t come off unless I want it too.

It was great for the three times we got to use it. Seemed like it was going to save a ton of time and effort. Not a perfect trim but good enough. I was super excited. We purchased early assuming if we waited till late Sept/early October when the unit would be needed the iPower would be sold out. So of course, we didn’t get to use the machine until after the return window had expired. After three uses (not heavy use, just filling the tray three times) approx 60 turns of the handle. The handle has broken and made the machine unusable. The aluminum is too soft and the flat spot has been stripped, it will no longer spin. I have emailed the manufacturer asking for a replacement handle or refund. I will update this review, if/when they respond. Really disappointed, it seemed like a great product at first.

Great Trimmer!
This bud trimmer is very well made and incredibly easy to use. You just lay in the untrimmed buds, turn the crank 20 or so times, and you have perfectly trimmed buds. The bud drying rack is also very good. Sturdy and well-made. It can hold buds from at least two plants at a time and perfectly dries them in just a few days (in Southern California’s arid climate).
