Used these to make an air curtain for the new fireplace. Ultra quiet and very good air movement while being very quiet at the same time.

Much quieter than I expected for the price. Clears out a laser engraver efficiently.

The fan unit I received was an obvious return so I was a bit hesitant. After inspecting the unit, I realized that the front housing is a slip on cover for the fan blades. I guess you might want to remove it depending on the installation. Anyway, the slip on cover was too loose and wouldn’t stay secured to the main body. It was simple enough to fix with some electrical tape. The fan itself is fairly quiet and the air flow is decent. I’ll keep it.

I just bought something cheap till I could get a more expensive, better one, but this little fan surprised me. Ive had more expensive name brand ones that this fan works just as good as. I get good air movement with it and have about 4 foot of exhaust hose connected to it and when you put your hand on the other side, you can feel the air blowing out pretty good. I have it in a closet grow that is about 4X3 feet. I would suggest a little bigger fan for a room this size, but for what it is, it’s definitely doing the job!!! I would purchase another one of needed

est airflow for a low cost for a laser engraver vent. There are better, but not at the price.

Just installed and this is very quiet. Not sure about the cfm as I have nothing to measure it with but seems quiet powerfull. Pulls the sides on my 2x3x3 3d printer enclosure drum tight.

Bought this for a K40 laser engraver. As expected, the K40’s stock fan is insufficient to exhaust smoke created by laser cutting/engraving. It’s got two mounting slots which made it simple to bolt to my work table and then duct the K40 exhaust through this fan. An arrow on the unit indicates flow for simplicity. Before this was installed, smoke would collect in the enclosure, affecting work quality. After installation, smoke is efficially vented out of the unit and work proceeds normally without smoke obstruction.

The fan moves a lot of air, it is fairly quiet. The problem with the one I received is when installed in a hose with no backpressure, it leaked air around the seam of the 2-part housing. This appears to be glued and not easily split back apart so the first thing I had to do was run a bead of RTV sealant around that seam

Works as intended, it’s not noisy and pretty basic. but I will be opting for one with setting controls next time

I’ll patch in a switch; it seems to be about the same air movement as a good muffin fan, and a bit on the bulky side
