I used this ventilation fan to remove cigarette smoke from a room. I bought everything from Amazon. The 6″ flexible ducting and the vent cover. I cut a hole in ceiling then connected the ducting to vent then to the ventilation fan, I then plugged the fan into a remote controlled outdoor power strip all in the attic. I can turn on the ventilation system anytime I’m needing the smoke removed and it works flawlessly and with hardly no noise. Very easy to install and is very durable and well made.

Well loved how easy it was on installation and everything was in the box . Wasn’t much there 👍🏼, anyway I continued to put it to my tent and plugged it in hopeing all was good and well listen u tell me is that ok ? Running 24/7 daily .I thought it was a lil better than those metal 1s only thing thats better is it’s plastic not finger splitting metal ,but they are a lot quieter, the finger choppers see ya !! why these should be at least what they claimed quiet,etcetcetc listen is that quiet ? It’s not bad glad I grabbed it !! Lil louder but she’s a runner .and update she’s a runner not bad at all loving it .

I recently purchased the VEVOR Inline Duct Fan, 6-Inch 400 CFM, to replace the old fan in my kitchen hood. I must say, I am extremely impressed with its performance. Received the product with no manual, no hardware screws to install it and a product much different from what is pictured and listed here, the mounting bracket was not metal as pictured it was a cheap plastic mount, that I am not confident will mount securely overtime the plastic feels very cheap on this as you will see in my pictures. I extremely hate when companies try to deceive people by showing you one thing but sending you something different or a possible returned product that wasnt inspected before they sent it, on top of that the controller I received was damaged. All 4 switch screw mounts were split from the screws and the dial was broken also, the dial upon turning it popped right off and the housing for the switch fell apart, it wont even hold shut. Needless to say I need a whole new switch with cord, currently I am not feeling very confident with Vevor at the moment, and the fact that this is now delaying my Co2 Laser engraving machine from running due to this issue. When I contacted there company about the warranty, they basically said they cannot help me because there Amazon ” Colleague ” is separate from there company and they are the ones who need to help me via email. because they cannot find my order they cannot warranty the device, themselves as the main company, that makes no sense to me whatsoever, especially when Amazon are the ones linking support directly to there website, Paola was the Vevor rep whom I spoke too. Hopefully they can resolve sending me a new switch or device I am not happy so far, with what I received, especially since this is mounted already. Either way please inspect everything you receive if you purchase this product. Lastly as far as the sound levels they are not too bad as one stated in a review here its not loud but its not super quiet either, once I can eventually get my ducting in I will know more on how good the sound is, this thing does produce good air flow tho. This get 3 stars for now till further testing not only of the equipment but also the customer service

This model will put out an impresisve amount of air as advetised, is very lightweight, can be speed contolled, and is easily mounted. This is as far as the advertised features go as far as fact. The rest is a bold faced lie. The item clearly is advertised as 34db in noise(the baby sleeping picture). This is not even close. On low the fan puts out 52db and on high it puts out 71db. A 52db fan still puts out a good amount of air and would be tolerable if that 52db wasnt from an annoying electrical hum from the ac motor. Anything below aorund 60% speed and the hum is very noticable. This is due the the company no understanding basic principles of ac motor speed control. This is evident by the speed controller, which is just a basic, cheap, reostat. It just turns down the voltage to the motor creating the effect of slower speed. This is where the hum comes from. The speed controller knob is made so it sits crooked on the controller and the entire controller is blank from any markings indicating speed. I bought this mainly for the advetised low db. It is still better than what I was using before but I expect factual specs when I make a purchase.

Unit preforms great and pretty quiet. Hook it to a vent that didn’t supply enough and was satisfy with the results. I would add some great pictures but Amazon app won’t let me paste fotos and I don’t like to allow access to camera or fotos.

Everything seems great with the exception of the on/off knob. It is extremely brittle plastic. In fact, the very first time I turned it on, the little bump that designates the on/off setting was too much for the knob to take and it literally snap in half…just rotating it to on!!!
