I like it
Size: 6 Inch
I’ve used this for a couple of projects, and it works great. The thermostatic control is fast, so there is no delay. It might be nice to have an option for some delay, especially on the shut off time. It’s quiet on low, but it’s still a fan, so there’s definitely noise on high, but it’s not bad for the amount of air that it moves. The controller takes a little bit to figure out, because the instructions are not very clear, but once you learn it, then it’s easy. There’s a dimmer for the control display that’s makes it nice at night. You can manually set it to bright, or dim.

This Thing Really Sucks and Blows! IN A GOOD WAY👍!
Size: 6 Inch
Damn! This thing is a champ, I put it into my longest run of ac duct from the ac in the basement to the 2nd story room. And whoever installed the ac system in this house was a few braincells shy of your average fella, no tape on any of the joints ect. but yah taped up all my joints and fitted this thing in for the second story room and it is super nice moves air excellent, easy cleaning! The blower portion of the housing separates with 2 clamps, use the Philips head driver and pop the center out, clean, reinstall. Cannot speak on longevity yet but seems robust. I’m a Mechanical Design Engineer for industrial equipment , so not just Billy bob in his garage😂 Will most definitely update review if anything craps out, but as of now this thing saved us from sleeping in the living room! Settings are easy to figure out if you refer to the manual, also some good videos on them. It easily tripled or even quadrupled the output of that register! Measuring your ductwork is crucial make sure you get the right size! I got the 6 inch temperature controlled model. Temp controller module is essential if you plan on using it for ac or ventilation. I’ll add a photo once I tidy up the wires, don’t wanna show off sloppy work😂 but had to stop and give this thing some props have 2 Vevor products and both have impressed me for both price and quality.

AMAZING POWERFUL FAN
Size: 8 Inch
This fan blew me away. I was making a cooling system for my laptop and wanted to run a 4 inch hose trgough the desk to the underside of my laptop. I purchased a random4 inch fan that was not very good so I decided to go larger. I happened to see this fan on sale and thought it may be too good to be true. Well it is not, i was going to go 6 inches but the 8 inch was less than other 6 inch fans so I bought one. The first time I turned this fan on I actually thought my laptop would lift off the desk. I coul only laugh at the amout of overkill for my needs I got. But hey overkill can be good. The little control unit that comes with it is a little chunky when trying to navigate but i like the fact its lit up and you can read it in a dark room. Tge speeds range from 1 to 10 and each one is a clear and progressively higher step in fan speed. I put a 6 inch reducer on my since I had 6 inch ducts alreadynand it was only going two feet from being mounted on my the underside of my desk through the desk to a cistom duct holder and stand for my laptop. I use a custom filter to try and minimize the dust being pumped into the laptop vents. It works really well and i never have to turn it up past 4 and it moves a lot of air. This fan is worth every pennyand it moves so much air that I buy a second one for my den to circulate the ac cool air since i only have one vent in a very large room..
Short answer is this fan is powerful and moves a ton of air!!! You will not regret your purchase and sometimes it half the price of other less powerful fans. I paid 25 percent more than what i paid for my 4 inch fan that wont even blow a piece of paper.
The fan can get louder at around the 7-10 range but i was surprised at the quietness in relation to the amout of air being passed through. Over good fan!

Works great with OMTech 50W laser
Size: 6 Inch
Use this for fume extraction on my 50W OMTech. Love it. Even when lasering wood the room doesn’t get filled with smoke like it used to with the stock fan.

Built a poor man’s Bedjet/8Sleep bed cooling setup with this
Size: 4 Inch
I’ve always struggled with adequate sleep, often waking up sweating. My Oura ring says I wake up 5-10 times a night. I read about Elon/Zuck touting the 8Sleep solution but no way I can afford $3K to cool down my bed. Then saw the Bedjet and it was still too much to try on a whim. So armed with this duct fan and a length of duct hose, I rigged up a cheap setup to test it out.
First, I’m so glad I purchased this model specifically.
1) Speed 1 (lowest speed) is quiet enough to sleep with (almost indiscernible with my ears) and yet provides enough air flow even through 16′ of corrugated hose to cool a king sized bed. Many other duct fans I considered only have two speeds which I suspect are both too loud and too much airflow. I will say that 2 is a bit louder and likely tolerable while sleeping, but any of the higher speeds and things get noisy. If you’re a fan of white noise, it might work.
2) The temperature and humidity sensor and triggers let me be creative to try and trigger the fan only when temps rise above a set comfort level. Leaving the fan on all night seems to be a bit too cool to fall asleep to.
I’ve only tried it two nights now, but my Oura ring is telling me I’m not waking up in the middle of the night and I’m waking much more rested than I can remember.
I initially tried the duct down by my feet but it chills your feet too much so slept with it about 1/3 up the bed mostly chilling the torso. The way your sheets/blanket are situated will really control where air flows. Keep the sheets taught with an exit by your neck and you’ve got wind flowing along your body (too cold). Create a bubble and it just keeps the area cool without a lot of actual wind exiting the sheets.
In the future I want to try and couple of modifications including capping the end of the hose and punching holes along the length and having it lay across the entire length of the bed, and more experiments using the temp/humidity sensor to create something that responds dynamically versus on all night.
Highly recommended as a sub-$80 bed jet alternative or to even see if you like it.

Wow😭 really wish I could give it 0 stars instead. I guess the only place a vevor product belongs is the trash. Have had this product out the box for no longer than 15 minutes and 1. Has the most obnoxious high pitch ringing sound that can be heard outside of the room. 2. The port that connects the fan to the screen controller, BROKE OFF into my screen after inserting into port 1 to test and PULL OUT to put into port 2 for a test as well and it got stuck and broke in port 1… not. Even. After. 1. Full pull. Cheapest product on the market. I have an ac infinity inline in my ac infinity 2×4 and I thought why not give another company a chance. Yea what a joke guys 😭

Freakin amazing for the price!
Size: 8 Inch
I have only been using this fan (8 inch w/ controller) for a few days so this is an initial impression. For those interested, read on later for tests that I conducted. The fan comes with a controller and a temperature and relative humidity sensor. The fan alone WILL run without any of these hooked up, but it will be at full speed. The amazing part is the controller that will allow the fan to be run at ten different speed settings. It appears to draw a lot less current than the fan I replaced, although that was 10 years old or so, and it runs quieter even though it moves the air 12% faster than the old one. It also can be run with only the controller attached but not the T/RH sensor, so unless you need to have it turned on/off at specific T or RH settings, it does not need to be hooked up. I can’t imagine buying the model without the controller, which is nearly the same price.
Following is the technical information. Speed setting 10 – full: 67 watts, 2800 ft/min (all readings are at no load/resistance right at the fan outlet. Ducting friction will reduce the air flow. For my situation with 3-90 degree elbows and 50 feet of flexible spiral ducting, the outlet is 1600 f/m at the 10 setting); 9: 57 w, 2500 f/m (89% of full speed); 8: 47 w, 2300 f/m, 82%; 7: 41 w, 2200 f/m, 79%; 6: 35 w, 2000 f/m, 71%; 5: 29 w, 1900 f/m, 68%; 4: 24 w, 1800 f/m, 64%; 3: 19 w, 1600 f/m, 57%; 2: 12 w, 1350 f/m, 48%; 1: 6 w, 1000 f/m, 36%.
For comparison, another fan I have with a variable speed L to H controller, the lowest speed is 73% of the maximum. If you want a wider range of speeds available, particularly at the slower end, this fan is a fantastic option at an unbelievably low price. I have already ordered several others. Even if it fails in a year or two of nearly continuous use, it is still a great value.

Moves A Lot Of Air Quietly
Size: 6 Inch
I snagged this combo during the Prime Day deals to run on my 60w CO2 laser for smoke extraction. I had been using a 4″ online fan with a step down adapter I 3d printed. It worked, but wasn’t the. Greatest and certainly wasn’t quiet.
This usit with the control panel and sensor was a nice upgrade. Mind you, it’s primarily plastic, time will tell how well it holds up, but for the price paid, it’s a sound investment. I mounted it behind the laser on the cart I built for it, connected right up with the ducting (separate purchase, same brand) and ran without any problems. I was impressed with the airflow, but moreso the lack of noise. It’s literally 30% quite or more than the old style in line fan I was using.
I don’t think it’s worth what it normally runs when not on Prime Day or a lightning deal, but when it is at those prices, it’s a solid purchase.
